Seneca Falls - Angelina "Betty" E. Deming, 86, formerly of Anthony Drive, Seneca Falls, NY, died Tuesday (October 22, 2013) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday (October 24) from 4 - 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday (October 25) at 10 AM at the funeral home with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to Huntington Living Center for patient needs, 369 E. Main St., Waterloo, NY 13165. Betty was born in Auburn, NY on March 28, 1927 the daughter of the late Joseph & Marion Lamphere DelSanto. She had resided in Seneca Falls since 1976 moving from Rochester, NY. She had attended St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. Betty was a very independent woman who could be seen every day as she walked around Seneca Falls. She, also, liked to knit, bake, and cook but most of all Betty was always there for anybody and anyone. She is survived by: 1 daughter - Kathleen (Daniel) Gotham - Seneca Falls, NY 3 grandchildren - Hilary (Ross) Reinwald Bel Air, Maryland Lindsay (Josh Cornue) Gotham - Rochester, NY Troy Gotham - Seneca Falls, NY 1 great grandson - Parker Daniel Reinwald - Bel Air, Maryland 2 sisters - Jean Guthrie - Seneca Falls, NY Shirley Porcelli - Seneca Falls, NY Her brother-in-law - Philip "Benny" Longo - Waterloo, NY Her brother and sister-in-law - Lillis & Norm Peth - Ocala, Florida Several nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband, David "Mort" Deming who died June 27, 1989, her sister, Barbara Longo who died January 18, 2009, & 2 brothers-in-law, Earl R. Guthrie who died January 14, 1994 & Peter Porcelli who died November 17, 2010 and her brothers & sisters- in-law, Doris & Carl Swanson, Pearl & Charles Sparrow, & Aleen & Albert Moore and her nephews, Ray Hart and Joseph Longo .
