Seneca Falls - Angelo J. Lucchesi, 91, formerly of Gravel Rd., Seneca Falls, NY, died Sunday (December 20, 2015) at the home of his daughter in Newark, NY surrounded by his loving family. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Monday (December 28) from 12 Noon to 1:30 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2 PM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy as celebrant. Burial, with full military honors, will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. Angelo was born in Waterloo, NY on March 5, 1924 the son of the late Natale & Josephine Morganti Lucchesi. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had resided in Seneca Falls for most of his life. He had owned and operated the former Lucchesi Ford of Seneca Falls for many years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992, the S.M.S of Seneca Falls, the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion of Seneca Falls, & the National Automobile Dealers Association. Angelo loved to fish, hunt and read. Along with his brother Pete, he was one of the original members of Camp Dogit. Angelo and his wife Anna enjoyed spending winters in Boynton Beach, Florida in his early retirement years. They enjoyed summers on Cayuga Lake where they owned a cottage since 1963. Most of all Angelo loved the times he spent with his family whom were the most important part of his life.
