Ann M. (Diviney) Truesdale

June 26, 1935 — December 23, 2015

Waterloo - Ann M. Truesdale, 80, formerly of Edwards Road, Waterloo, NY, died Wednesday (December 23, 2015) at Clifton Springs Hospital, Clifton Springs, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Tuesday, December 29, from Noon to 2:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterloo, NY immediately following the service. If desired, contributions may be made to the Pathway Home (Hospice House), P.O. Box 516, Seneca Falls, NY 13148. Ann was born in Geneva, NY on June 26, 1935 the daughter of the late John & Bridgett Sherlock Diviney. She was a life resident of the Waterloo-Varick area. She retired from Geneva Adjustment Service in Geneva, NY where she was office manager for more than 30 years. Ann's loving and caring nature was shared with anyone who crossed her path. . She was one of the active volunteers instrumental in the foundation of "Happiness House" in Geneva, NY. She later became a member of the Board. Ann was very involved with the Everybody Rides Program in Newark, NY bringing horseback riding happiness to hundreds of special needs individuals. She dedicated her life to her children, extended family and friends sharing with them her strength in character and unconditional love. Being on the move brought Ann happiness, whether it be through yard work or her crafting. She is survived by: 1 son - Daniel Truesdale - Walworth, NY Her daughters - Donna (Curtis) Karlsen - Varick, NY Linda (James) Durso - Victor, NY 4 grandchildren - Adam (Allison Clark) Karlsen, Benjamin (Lauren Brannan) Karlsen, Linsey (David Bethea) Karlsen, & Tyler Durso 1 great-grandson - Kai Bethea Her brother-in-law - Wilson "Bill" Wright - Waterloo, NY Several loving nieces and nephews A dear family friend, Mary Plate In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by 1 brother, Carl Diviney, 3 sisters, Helen Meehan, Kitty Haust, & Joan Wright, and dear friend, Arthur Truesdale.
