Bernard "Bernie" F. Leone

Seneca Falls: Bernard Leone, 58 years old, sadly passed away on Thursday, February 9th, 2023. He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Giovanna and young daughters, Bella (8 years old) and Nicolette (6 years old). Bernie is survived by his mother, Maria (Bellomo) Leone and younger sister, Maria Leone. Bernie was predeceased by his father, Carlo in 2021.

Bernie was born on July 17th, 1964, in Seneca Falls, NY where he attended Mynderse Academy. He later attended St. John Fisher College and proudly graduated with a BS in Psychology. Throughout his career he wore many hats that included expertise in Financial Advising, Stockbrokerage, and Banking. Outside of work, Bernie loved 80s rock music, his favorite bands being Rush and Dio. He had a wicked sense of humor and was often known to break into a random pop song, getting a laugh from those around him, and he was a proud member of the Bills Mafia.

Bernie and Giovanna married in September, 2002, and after a few years of hoping and praying, were blessed with two beautiful smart daughters.

Bernie left this world holding his wife's hand while she comforted him at his bedside. While he left us all too soon, and our entire family is heartbroken, we can take comfort knowing that Bernie is in Heaven with his dear father Carlo, and they will look upon and guide us with their spirit and unending love.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, February, 19th from 3 - 5 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 20th at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 97 West Bayard St., Seneca Falls. Interment to follow at St. Columbkille Cemetery.
