Seneca Falls: Much-loved and cherished sister and aunt passed away on Saturday, March 20th,
2021 at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo. A Private Funeral Mass will be live streamed from
St. Patrick's Church in Seneca Falls, on Thursday, March 25th at 10 AM. A link for the live
stream is available on Betty's online memorial at DoranFuneralHome.com. Burial will be in St.
Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis
and St. Clare Parish, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165.
Betty was born on May 2, 1937, the daughter of the late Arthur and Olga (Benassi) Andreas, in
Seneca Falls, NY. She was a devoted sister and aunt, who offered much love, comfort, and
support to her family.
Betty was a lifelong resident of Seneca Falls and also a lifetime member of St. Patrick's Church
in Seneca Falls where she was a member of St. Patrick's Guild & Altar Society. Betty started
her career in the banking industry before she had even finished high school. She worked her
way to Assistant Manager of the Seneca Falls branch of Chase Bank and then as the Manager
of Community Bank in Seneca Falls, from where she retired. Betty also had served as Tax Collector
for the Town of Seneca Falls.
Survived by her sisters, Anna Marie Cafolla of Geneva and Barbara J. Constable of Seneca
Falls; seventeen nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family and friends. She was
preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald A. Verzillo, and brother, Carl Andreas.
