Seneca Falls/Romulus - Brien B. Rogers, 81, of Route 89, Romulus, NY, died Sunday July 26, 2015. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY, on Tuesday July 28 from 5 - 7 PM. Brien's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 29 at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to the United Way of Seneca County, 215 Main St. Shoppe Center, Waterloo, NY 13165. Brien was born in Seneca Falls, NY on October 22, 1933 the son of the late Kenneth & Margaret Rogers. He was a graduate of the University of Rochester and later earned his Master's in Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He lived most of his life in Seneca Falls but enjoyed his winters, with his wife, Joan, in Key West Florida. Brien was retired from Gould's Pumps of Seneca Falls where he was Vice-President of Administration. After his retirement from Gould's Pumps he purchased the former W.S.F.W. Radio Station and ran it with his wife Joan. He was a active member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. Brien was a member of the Seneca Falls Rotary Club and a former member of the Seneca Falls Country Club and Red Jacket Yacht Club. He served on several boards of directors, including the Boy Scouts, the United Way of Seneca County, & the American Red Cross of Seneca County. Brien had always been a community minded person and he, along with his wife Joan, had been honored as volunteers of the year for Seneca Falls.
