Seneca Falls - Catherine Ann Moio, 66 of Seneca Falls, NY, died Monday (November 10, 2014) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY. Family and friends may attend her Mass Christian Burial on Friday (November 14) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. There will be no prior calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church, c/o St. Patrick's Church Office, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165. Catherine was born in Seneca Falls, NY on October 18, 1948 the daughter of the late Dominick & Mary Cherock Moio. She had resided in Seneca Falls for most of her life. She was brought up as a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. Catherine was a participant in the Special Olympics and a participant of the Day Hab Program in Newark, NY. She loved her Buffalo Bills and bowling. Her favorite pastime was Latch Hooking. She is survived by: 1 brother - Bill (Debra) Moio - Reno, Nevada Her niece and advocate - Rosemary (Ed) Barto - Seneca Falls, NY Several additional nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, Catherine was predeceased by 3 sisters and their husbands: Rose (Joe) Scalmassi, Mary (George) Bachman, & Clara (Art) Pacilio, 2 brothers and their wives: Leo (Mary) Moio & Bruno (Sylvia) Moio.
