Seneca Falls - Cleveland E. Summers, 77 of Bridge St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Sunday (June 26, 2016) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY. There will be a celebration of Cleveland's life on Thursday (July 14, 2016) from 6 PM to 9PM at the Seneca Falls Community Recreation Center, 35 Water St., Seneca Falls, NY. There will be no prior calling hours Cleveland was born in Vivian, West Virginia on December 30, 1938 the son of the late John & Della Faulkner Summers. He had resided in Seneca Falls for 7 years, moving from Delaware. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was retired from Schrage's Manufacturing Company in Henrietta, NY. Cleveland enjoyed fishing, photography, & woodworking, especially building planters and birdhouses. Most of all, he enjoyed his great grandchildren. He is survived by: 1 daughter - Janet Summers - Seneca Falls, NY 1 son - Charles (Melissa) Summers - Auburn, NY His grandchildren - Franklin Sean O'Shea, Joshua Ray O'Shea, Raymond James (LeeAnn) O'Shea, & Kye Thomas William Cole 7 great grandchildren 6 sisters - Frances Green - Waynesboro, VA. Sara (Charles) Hale - Tazville, VA. Lucille (John) Wyatt - Tazville, VA. Virginia (Gary) Hildebrand - Waynesboro, VA. Anna Summers - Waynesboro, VA. Jennifer Summers and her husband, Jim 2 brothers - Ray Franklin (Donna) Summers - Waynesboro, VA. John Henry (Rose) Summers - PA. Several nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, Cleveland was predeceased by his wife, Ida Bettis Summers who died in 2001, 1 sister, Mae Summers, & 1 brother, LeRoy Summers.
