Donovan Stilwell

Waterloo: Donovan Stilwell, 62, lifelong resident of Waterloo, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Monday, April 10th, 2023. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 21st, from 10AM - 12 Noon, with a funeral service to immediately follow at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY 13148.

Donovan was born in Waterloo, NY, the son of the late Donald Sr. and Jane (Ferrara) Stilwell. He graduated from Waterloo High School and shortly after started working for Toner Pipeline and Paving in Geneva where he worked for over 30 years until their closing. After Toner, he worked for the Town of Seneca Falls as an Equipment Operator and had retired in December of 2022 after 12 years with the Town.

Donovan was known for his laid back approach to life and his ability to go with the flow. He enjoyed working on his hot rods and his always expanding classic car collection.

No matter what he had going on, he was always loyal and dedicated to his family and friends and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. Donovan's family will remember him for his love of sunshine, warm weather, and his flip flops.

Donovan is survived by his daughter, Brandy (Jimmy) Warner; son, DJ (Ashley) Stilwell; two grandsons, Gavin and Grant; three sisters, Donna (Lenny) Marr, Diane Pigman, Doreen Minguez; brother, Donnie (Nadine Neinast) Stilwell; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
