Douglas R. Corsette

Utica: Douglas R. Corsette, lifelong resident of West Utica, passed away on Sunday March, 13th, 2022 at St. Lukes Hospital in New Hartford. He was 67. A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Whitesboro at the convenience of the family. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Doug was born in 1955 in Utica, NY, the son of the late Clifford and Kathleen (Tope) Corsette. He graduated from Utica Free Academy and had worked for Utica Cutlery shortly after high school. He had a special place in his heart for his family's camp on Kayuta Lake and spent as much time as possible there in the summer months. Doug enjoyed playing scratch off lottery tickets and touring the countryside in his car.

He is survived by two boys, Doug and Matt Corsette; sister-in-law, Darla Corsette, as well as a niece, a nephew, and extended family in Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, David Corsette.
