Glen was born in Geneva, NY, the son of Randy and Diane (Lutz) Peters. He was a lifelong resident of Waterloo. From a young age, Glen was surrounded by car racing and that passion stayed with him his entire life. He was a fan of NASCAR and had recently started building Dirt Cars. Glen was very gifted at working with his hands and was a true Jack-of-all trades. He excelled at many different trades, but welding was his true calling. From a young age, Glen went out of his way to help others. If someone was in need and he had the means to help, he would without hesitation. He was also a fan of the Buffalo Bills and very rarely would be found without a can or bottle of Mountain Dew in his hand. Glen’s biggest passion in life was his daughter, Gracie. If Gracie wanted to do something, he was right there with her to share in the adventure. Together they enjoyed fishing, hunting, and skating.
Glen is survived by his daughter, Gracie Peters; parents, Randy and Diane Peters; sister, BobbiJo Peters; several aunts, uncles and many special cousins and dear friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Rex and Garnett Peters; maternal grandparents, Robert Lutz and Lorraine Wegman Lutz; uncle, James (Jonie) Peters; aunts, Linda Nash and Patricia Peters.
