Waterloo - Henry E. Emerson Jr., 71, of Waterloo-Geneva Rd., Waterloo, NY, passed away on Monday (January 14, 2019) at Seneca Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Waterloo, NY.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Friday (January 18) from 10 AM to 11 AM followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 11 AM with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Francis/St. Clare Parish. Burial, with military honors, will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. If desired, contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Henry was born in Seneca Falls, NY on August 26, 1947 the son of the late Henry & Philomena (DePasquale) Emerson Sr. . He was a life resident of the Seneca Falls - Waterloo area and had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Gould's Pump's of Seneca Falls and had previously worked at the former Seneca Army Depot, Romulus, NY. He had been a member of the S.M.S. of Seneca Falls and the Kirk-Casey Post American Legion, Seneca Falls. Henry enjoyed his time fishing and, in earlier years, hunting. He loved a good game of Pool & loved to carry a tune with a song.
He is survived by:
1 son - Jesse (Angelica Stewart) Emerson - Waterloo, NY
1 daughter - Jackie Smith - Seneca Falls, NY
1 grandson - Kyler Emerson
1 sister - Betty (Todd) Sherman - Waterloo, NY
2 brothers - David (Ellie) Emerson - Waterloo, NY
