Harry was born in Seneca Falls, son of the late Edgar and Beatrice (Farrell) Eno. He was a graduate of Mynderse Academy and shortly thereafter joined the US Army, serving for two years. Not long after returning home, he joined the village of Seneca Falls Police Department, where he worked for 20 years before retiring from the force with the rank of Sergeant. During his time on the force, Harry also furthered his education, first, at Cayuga Community College, receiving an associate’s degree, and later at Empire State College where he received a B.A. in Criminal Justice. After retiring from the village, Harry started Eno Plumbing and Heating which he ran for a few years before selling the business and started working at the Seneca Army Depot until it’s closure. Still not wanting to fully retire, he also worked for Seneca County as security for the courthouse for several years.

A hard worker, but also one to enjoy his free time, Harry had many hobbies that kept him busy. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and working around the house. He was also a very accomplished woodworker and carver, specializing in bird carvings; he won all kinds of awards and accolades for his bird carvings across the State. He was also a life member of the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge 992.

Harry is survived by his son, Gary (Maureen) Eno; daughters, Lynn (Fred) Wickham and Shelly (Joseph) Capacci; grandchildren, Anthony (Victoria) Eno, Jeffrey (Caitlin) Rosenkrans, Amy (Robert) Dickman; Sarah and Nicholas Capacci; great grandchildren, Cady and Cole Dickman, and Kip and Maeve Rosenkrans; sisters, Jan (Jess) Hemingway, Patricia McDermott, Margaret (John Velte) Eno; sister-in-law, June Favreau; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his bride of 63 years, the late Constance “Connie” (Favreau) Eno; brothers, John, James, and William Eno; sister, Beatrice (John) Decker; and mother and father-in-law, Elizabeth and Kenneth Favreau.
