Seneca Falls - James L. Corter, 55 of Mynderse St., Seneca Falls, NY died Saturday (February 6, 2016) of injuries he received at a work related accident at the Seneca Meadows Landfill in Seneca Falls. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday (February 11) from 4 to 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday (February 12) at 11 AM at the funeral home with Reverend Leah Ntuala, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Jim was born in Rochester, NY on January 10, 1960 the son of Albert & Mary Lagree Corter. He had resided in Seneca Falls since 2007 moving from Florida. He was employed by the Seneca Meadows Landfill. He had been a truck driver for many years and truck driving was his love. He enjoyed collecting eagle items. Jim was a happy-go-lucky man who was very soft-spoken and loved by many.
