Seneca Falls - James F. Shutter, 69, of Ovid St. Seneca Falls, NY, passed away after a short illness, on June 13, 2015 at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Friday, June 19, 2015, from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM with a Memorial Service immediately following, at 6:00 PM at the funeral home, with Reverend James Fennessy of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1120 Goodman St. Rochester, NY 14620. James was born on October 3, 1945, in Auburn, NY, the son of the late Frederick J. and Mary Shutter. He worked and retired as a manager from Petr-All in Syracuse, NY. James was self-motivated and worked his way up to the top levels of management. He has resided in Seneca Falls for the past 40 years and enjoyed motor sports, especially Nascar Racing, and was an avid bowler. His family was very important to him.
