Janice Scarrott, of Romulus, passed away peacefully Thursday March 3rd, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 11th at 10AM at St. Francis deSales Church, 130 Exchange St., Geneva. Interment will follow at St. Columbkille Cemetery in Seneca Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Peace Parish, 130 Exchange St. Geneva, NY 14456.
Janice was born in Seneca Falls, the daughter of the late Raymond and Martha (McGraw) Clark. On May 7th, 1949 she married Albert. They shared 41 years together raising their seven children, until Albert's passing in 1990. Janice worked in the Accounting Department at the Seneca Army Depot for many years. She was a member of St. Frances deSales Church. Not only was her faith strong, but so was her love of spending time with those that mattered most to her. She enjoyed playing cards, travelling with family, rooting for the NY Yankees, and playing the organ.
She is survived by her children, Marie (Irving) Schoenacker of Nunda, Mary (Jeffery) Stanton, Margaret (Dale) Allen, Michael (Lorrie) Scarrott, all of Romulus, Patricia (Lawrence) Zeger of Phelps, Susan (Steve) Houle of Salem VA, Robert (Lori) Scarrott of Greece: grandchildren, Ken, Bryan, Amy, Sarah, Chad, Luke, Christopher, Adam, Jeremy, Nicole, Alex, Becky, Kelly, Tessa, Olivia: many great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, William Clark, and a sister, Margaret Crane.
