John A. Constable

John Constable, age 57, of Rochester NY, passed away unexpectedly at Strong Memorial Hospital on Thursday November 14th, 2024. The time of visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st from 10AM to 12 PM. This will be followed by a funeral service at Noon, at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. Interment will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery.

John was born in Rochester, NY, the son of the late Terrence C. Constable and Barbara J. (Andreas) Constable. He grew up in Seneca Falls and was a 1985 graduate of Mynderse Academy. John graduated from SUNY Geneseo after high school where he received a bachelor’s degree in physics. Directly after graduation John was offered an Industrial Sales position with Goulds Pumps that took him out west where he worked in Colorado and Oregon. Several years later John decided to make a career change and moved to Steamboat Springs Colorado where he became a professional ski instructor. During this time John furthered his education at Colorado Mountain College, receiving a degree in accounting. Several years later John moved to Texas where he practiced accounting and worked as a golf instructor. John eventually moved back to the Rochester area in 2009 to be with his family and friends. Since returning to Rochester, John has been working as a Technical Sales Representative for Comairco Equipment for several years.

John’s biggest hobbies were skiing and golf, both activities he excelled at and thoroughly enjoyed. Once John returned to Rochester he spent much of his time with his brother Mike golfing, hanging out and watching his niece and nephew play sports.

John is survived by his mother, Barbara Constable; sister, Andrea (Kenneth Camera) Constable; brothers, Matthew, Christopher (Christine), Michael (Jackie) Constable; seven nieces and nephews; many cousins and extended family. He was predeceased by his father, Terrence Constable in 2021.
