Seneca Falls - Joseph F. Storto, 73, of Ovid St., Seneca Falls, N.Y., passed away, unexpectedly, Monday (February 22, 2016) at his residence. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Sunday (February 28) from 1 to 4 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, officiating. Private burial will be at St. John's Cemetery, Clyde, N.Y., at the convenience of the family. Contributions, if desired, may be made to the Beverly Animal Shelter, River Road, Waterloo, NY 13165. Joe was born in Lyons, N.Y. on May 25, 1942, the son of the late Theodore P. & Flora Petrosino Storto. He resided in Seneca Falls for most of his life and drove school bus for the Seneca Falls Central School District. Joe previously worked for the U.F.C.W. District Union Local One, P&C Grocery where he served as a butcher in Clyde, N.Y. and Seneca Falls, managed his own lawn mowing service. and had worked as a limo driver, enjoying those wine tours. Joe, also, served his country in the National Guard. Family and friends will remember Joey as a kind and loving man who did anything for his family, had a great sense of humor, and was a real people person. Joe is survived by: Two daughters: Dina (William) Corcoran of Nashua, New Hampshire and Gena (Mark) Adam of Williamsburg, Virginia Three grandchildren: Aaron and Lauren Adam, & Kendall Corcoran, One sister: Joanne (James) Blandino of Lyons, New York One brother: Ted Storto of Canandaigua, New York One niece: Doreen Blandino of Greenburg, Pennsylvania One nephew: Michael (Mary Jo) Blandino of Baldwin, Maryland Several cousins & additional nieces and nephews Please leave a condolence or light a candle in memory of Joseph at: www.doranfuneralhome.com
