Waterloo - Kenneth C. "Ducky" Bennett, 77, of Inslee St., Waterloo, NY, died Monday (December 24, 2012) at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY, after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday (December 27) from 3 - 6 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday (December 28) at 12 Noon at the funeral home and at 1 PM at St. Mary's Church, Waterloo, NY, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to James P. Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave., Box 704, Rochester, NY 14642. Ken was born in Montezuma, NY on February 28, 1935 the son of the late Kelley W. & Lucille Long Bennett. He had resided most of his life in Waterloo. He retired from Gould's Pumps in 1992. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Waterloo, the Fur, Fin, & Feather Sportsmen's Club of Seneca Falls, & Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992. Ken was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by: 1 daughter - Donna (Thomas) Anastasio - Seneca Falls, NY 1 son - Dennis (Brenda) Bennett - Marion, NY 3 grandchildren - Ana L. (Emily) Bennett Andrea & Katie Anastasio 1 sister - Katherine LaBelle - Waterloo, NY His special friend - Dorothy Halladay - Seneca Falls, NY His beloved cat - Snickers Several nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by his wife, Anita Bennett who died February 11, 2004, and 2 brothers, Richard & Clyde Bennett.
