Linda S. (Fugate) Ferrara

Linda S. Ferrara, 83, longtime resident of Seneca Falls, passed peacefully at Pathway Home of the Finger Lakes, on Sunday, March 9th, 2025. Privately, Linda will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Stephen “Musty” Ferrara, in St. Columbkille Cemetery. Linda was born in Garrett, Kentucky, daughter of the late Thomas and Pearl (Dickerson) Fugate. She grew up in Niagara Falls, later moving to Seneca Falls. Linda graduated from Rochester School for the Deaf and worked for many years at the Seneca Knitting Mill as a knitter. On January 26, 1963, Linda was united in marriage with Stephen Ferrara, a union of 47 years. Stephen passed in 2010.

Some of Linda’s interests consisted of watching her soap operas, especially The Young and the Restless, playing the machines at del Lago, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She was a longtime member of St. Patrick’s Church in Seneca Falls.

Linda is survived by her son, Stephen (Frances) Ferrara; daughter, Belinda Ferrara; three grandchildren, Lucas and Nicole Ferrara, and Robert (Rosalie) Sharrow III; great-granddaughter, Lilith; and several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Fugate, and sister, Letha Morgan.
