Lisa B. Watts

Lisa Watts, 49, of Seneca Falls, passed away at her home on Saturday, July 27th, 2024. A time for family and friends to gather will be on Thursday, August 8th from 4 – 6 PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls.

Lisa was born in Schenectady, NY, the daughter of Robert and the late Mary (Evangelisti) Watts. She graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School, Class of 1993. She furthered her education at SUNY ESF where she graduated with a bachelor’s in biology and environmental science before continuing on at SUNY Cortland where she received her master’s in general education.

For the last 18 years, Lisa has been a biology teacher, both at Waterloo Central School and most recently at Mynderse Academy. She was known for her free spirit and her ability to connect with her students. Many days Lisa’s students would find her breaking up the monotony of the day with her hula hoop. She loved to be outside, connecting with nature and the world around her. She loved all music and attended many concerts in her lifetime, and she was a diehard Deadhead through and through.

Lisa is survived by her children, Skyler and Trace Parish; father, Robert Watts; brother, Richard Watts; sister, Jamie Watts; beloved dog, Aspen; countless friends and students whose lives’ she touched. She was predeceased by her mom, Beth Watts.
