Waterloo - Marie C. Moreland, 65, of E. Main St. Waterloo, NY, passed away, Friday, January 26, 2018. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY, on Thursday, (February 1, 2018), from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM . A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 97 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Friday, (February 2, 2018 ) at 11:00 AM with Father James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, as Celebrant. Contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Medical Center, 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642 Marie was born in Seneca Falls, NY on January 12, 1953, the daughter of the late James and Anna Thayer Moreland. She was a graduate of Mynderse Academy, Seneca Falls, and was a lifelong resident of Waterloo and Seneca Falls where she was employed by Gould's Pumps Water Systems, Seneca Falls, NY as an Order Entry Clerk. Marie loved to go shopping, especially her shopping on QVC. She loved her family, and enjoyed being with her nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. Marie is survived by: 1 - Brother - James (Tracy) Moreland, Suwanee, Georgia 2 - Sisters - Anna Houck, Waterloo, NY Alice (Kevin "Mike") Stackus, Waterloo, NY 1 - Aunt - Julia Moreland, 1- niece, nephews & cousins Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by 1 sister, Elizabeth Ann Moreland who died as an infant.
