Romulus - Passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27th at Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY from 12 Noon - 2PM, with a Funeral Service to follow at 2PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo, NY.

Monya was born the daughter of Hamed and Doris (Szkoinik) Benarab, in Bradley Beach, NJ on February 12, 1971. She enjoyed many outdoor activities, including, biking, hiking and kayaking. Monya also wrote 2 children's books, Humble the Bumblebee and Bubble of Joy. She was a member of the West Fayette Presbyterian Church.

Predeceased by her mother, Doris. Survived by her husband, Frank Litzenberger of Romulus, NY, brother, Edward Benarab of Rochester, NY, sisters, Laila and Megan Benarab of Rochester, NY, as well as her very special friend, Charlotte Carroll of Waterloo, NY.
