Patricia A. (Stubbs) Ferrara

Patricia A. Ferrara, lifelong resident of Seneca Falls, passed away at the age of 73 on Saturday, November 9 h, 2024, at Rochester General Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd, 2024 at 12 NOON at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls.

Pat was born in Seneca Falls, daughter of the late Grayson and Margaret (Scott) Stubbs. She had worked for various places around Seneca Falls including Seneca Knitting Mill as an inspector, Seneca Falls School District as a bus monitor and served for many years with the Magee Fire Department. On August 19th, 1995, she was united in marriage with the late Neil Ferrara. Neil passed away in 2011.

Pat had always enjoyed making things with her hands. She was known for her knitting and crocheting, as well as the other various crafts she would make. She was also a pretty good bowler, bowling in a few local leagues at Finger Lakes Bowl. Most recently, Pat enjoyed playing Pogo games on her computer and partaking in some online shopping.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Christine Bott, Tracy (Michael) Abbott, Tammy Scesny, and her special granddaughter who was more like a daughter, Barbara Ann (Greg) Hendershot; sister, Barbara (Rory) Kelley; her favorite dog, Mia; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband, Neil; sisters, Donna Wilkes and Bonnie Pitts; and a brother, Grayson Stubbs II.
