Seneca Falls - Peggy E. Niles, 78, of Shady Beach Road, Seneca Falls, NY, died Thursday (February 13, 2014) at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, Rochester, NY. Family and friends may attend Peggy's Memorial Mass on Thursday (February 20) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in the spring in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Pathway Home (Hospice House), P. O. Box 516, Seneca Falls, NY 13148 or to the charity of one's choice. Peggy was born in Pittsburgh, PA. on August 10, 1935 the daughter of the late Wilson & Helen Durnin Kirker. She had resided most of her life in Seneca Falls and had resided for a time in Syracuse, NY. She was retired from Citi Finance of Syracuse, NY where she was a Senior Cashier. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Waterloo, NY and was an avid Syracuse University Basketball fan and a New York Yankee fan. She is survived by: Her husband, David Niles of Seneca Falls, whom she married on October 5, 1957 1 daughter - Karen (Robert) Goldman - Fayetteville, NY 1 son - Mark Niles - Washington, D.C. 4 grandchildren - Christine, Steven, Timothy, & Samuel Goldman Several nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her sister, Barbara McNaney Arrangements are under the direction of Doran Funeral Home, Seneca Falls, NY Please visit: doranfuneralhome.com
