Seneca Falls - Richard T. Callaghan, 70, of Johnston St., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Sunday (October 22, 2017) at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. Family and friends may attend Richard's Mass of Christian Burial on Monday (October 30, 2017) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls with Reverend Michael Merritt as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY. If desired, contributions may be made to Phoebe's K9 Resort, 92 Garden St., Seneca Falls, NY 13148 or Beverly Animal Shelter, River Road, Waterloo, NY 13165 Richard was born in Seneca Falls, NY on May 25, 1947 the son of the late Kenneth & June Magill Callaghan. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and had served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church. He is survived by special friends, Lauri (Joe) Nigro of Seneca Falls, Bob Crumb, Savannah, NY, & Sherrie Sweeting, Seneca Falls, NY.
