Richard J. Sarratori

Seneca Falls: Richard J. Sarratori, 53, of Seneca Falls, passed unexpectedly on October 18th, 2021, at Strong Memorial Hospital. Calling Hours will be Tuesday, October 26th, from 4-7PM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 27th at 9:30AM, officiated by the Rev. James Fennessy, at Doran Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sampson Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Seneca Falls Community Little League, PO Box 216, Seneca Falls, NY 13148.

Richard was born October 20, 1967 in Seneca Falls, the son of Richard and Joanne (Valenti) Sarratori. He was a graduate of Seneca Falls Mynderse Academy and served in the US Army during the Gulf War. He spent time overseas and was very proud of his time in the military. He was a member of the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge 992 and was the past President of the Seneca Falls Community Little League board. Rich enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially enjoyed hitting up some of the local casinos and dining out with his companion, Laurie.

Richard is survived by his mother, Joanne Sarratori; son, Stefano (Corine Sandroni); daughter, Jessica (Thomas) O'Halloran; grandchildren, Cameron, Benjamin and Jade O'Halloran; brother, David (Danielle); sister, Rebecca (Roy) Nicholson; significant other of over 12 years, Laurie Bentley, as well as niece and nephews, Jillian, Jack, Henry, and Cooper. Rich is predeceased by his father, Richard "Shanghai" Sarratori.
