Robert "Bob" D. Kreager, 81, of Hudson, Florida passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at Bayonet Pointe Medical Center following a brief illness. Family and friends may attend his committal service, with military honors, on Monday (August 18, 2014) at 10:45 AM at Sampson Military Cemetery, Route 96, Romulus, NY. Bob was born and raised in Seneca Falls, NY on April 7, 1933 by the late William and Hazel Taylor Kreager. He attended Mynderse Academy, Class of 1951. Bob was retired from United Parcel Service and Seneca Army Depot. He worked his later years at Walmart in Seneca Falls and Hudson, Florida. He volunteered at Bayonet Pointe Medical Center as a shuttle driver until his illness. Bob served in the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corp and the United States Army Reserve totaling 20 years of dedicated service to his country. Bob was very active in the Kirk-Casey American Legion Post 366, serving as Past Commander and Adjutant. He also was Commander of the American Legion's Color Guard, taking them all the way to Hawaii to place first in the National Competition of Color Guards from all over the country. He is survived by two daughters and a son. Robin of Auburn, NY, Colleen (John) Rosky of Portsmouth, NH and William of Waterloo, NY. Two siblings, Richard (Millie) Kreager of Omro, WI and Norma Hoehne of Leesburg, FL. Five grandchildren, Joshua (Nikolina) Kreager of Marysville, CA, Emily Rosky of Rye, NH, Jesse Kreager of Waterloo, NY, Lindsay Kreager of Auburn, NY and Lauren Kreager of Savona, NY. One great-granddaughter, Makena Kreager of Marysville, CA. He is also survived by Elaine Kreager and several nieces and nephews. In addition, he also leaves behind some very special friends he'd made since moving to Hudson full time.
