Robert M. Hendrickson

Seneca Falls - Robert M. Hendrickson, age 85, passed away peacefully at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo, NY, on Saturday, (Sept. 28, 2013) following a long illness. A Memorial Mass for Robert will be held on Saturday (Oct. 5, 2013) at 10 AM at St. Patrick's Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, and celebrant. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls 13148, or Beverly's Animal Shelter, E. River Road, Waterloo, NY 13165. Bob was born March 11, 1928 in Geneva, NY, the son of the late Rudolph Skoczen Hendrickson and Anna Corcoran Hendrickson. He graduated from DeSales High School in Geneva, NY. Bob owned an insurance agency in Seneca Falls for many years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his friends at the Knights of Columbus and Seneca Falls Elks Club. Survived by: His wife , Jean Hendrickson, whom he married on February 7, 1953 - Seneca Falls, NY 2 - daughters - Mary (Tony) DeStefano, Seneca Falls, NY Elise (John) Agnello , Panama City Beach, Fla 2 - Sons - Michael (Joan Carnevale) Hendrickson, Penn Yan, NY Daniel Hendrickson, Santa Fe, New Mexico 3 - Grandsons - James Hendrickson Jason (Sara) Hendrickson Matthew Hendrickson 2 - Granddaughters - Stephanie Hendrickson (Kevin Roloson) Jennifer Hendrickson 2 - Great Grandsons - Adrian and Ace Hendrickson 1 - Great Granddaughter - Isabelle Hendrickson Several nieces and nephews Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by one sister, Mary Smith. The family would like to especially thank Dr. Wirth and the nursing staff at Huntington Living Center for their kind attention to Robert's care.
