Ronald A. Nucci Sr.

Waterloo: Ronald A. Nucci Sr. passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, January 27th, 2021, with his wife
by his side, at the age of 78. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 2 from 2-4 PM at Doran
Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. A Celebration of Ron's life will immediately
follow at SMS Lodge, 95 Ovid St., Seneca Falls.

Born in Seneca Falls, NY on March 10, 1942, the son of the late Anthony and Dorothy (Knipper)
Nucci. Ron graduated from Mynderse Academy, and was a lifelong resident of Seneca Falls.
For many years, Ron was a police officer; first, for 10 years with the Seneca Falls Police
Department, eventually transferring to and becoming a Seneca County Sheriff for 15+ years;
and finishing his career with Seneca Security at the NYS Chiropractic College before becoming
ill. Some of Ron's hobbies included, fishing, bowling, golfing, playing cards with his SMS
buddies, and most importantly, watching sports. He loved the Buffalo Bills and Syracuse
basketball.

Survived by his wife of 38 years, Anna Marie (Mumford); children, Paul (Shannon Howe)
Paradise of Auburn, NY, Melissa Paradise of Batavia, NY, Melinda Austin of Albion, NY, Ron
(Amber) Jr. of NC, Rhonda (Rich) Tighe of NC; many grandchildren, including his special
granddaughters, Emma Rose Paradise and Alyssa Jayne Hendrix;great-
granddaughter,Rowan;sisters, Carol Hendrickson and Caroline Nucci, sisters-in-law, Cheryl
(Dave) Wagner, brothers-in-law, Bill (Darlene) and Michael (Carol) Mumford, two nieces and
two nephews, as well as extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the family.
