Seneca Falls - Florida - Rose Mary Roodman, 97, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away Saturday, (May 31, 2014) at Florida North Hospital, Altamonte Springs, Florida. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, (June 7, 2014), at 10:00 AM, at St. Patrick's Church, Bayard Street, Seneca Falls, NY, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, Officiating. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY Rose Mary was born in Seneca Falls, NY, on February 24, 1917, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna (Stebilka) Ryck. She lived in Seneca Falls for 58 years and most recently,has resided in Florida. Rose Mary is a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls. She was President of the Seneca Falls Chamber of Commerce in 1974. Rose Mary received The Woman of The Year Award from the Seneca Falls Business & Professional Women. She was also a member of Military Wives Association of Orlando, Florida. She is survived by: 1 - Daughter - Joyce (Thomas) Ferrara, Altamonte Springs, FL 2 - Grandchildren - Nicole (Aaron) Ruth & Tommy Ferrara 2 - Great Grandchildren - Natalie Essig and Colby Ruth Several Nieces and Nephews Besides her parents, Rose Mary is predeceased by 4 brothers - John, Joseph, Andrew, & Frank Ryck; and 1 - sister - Jane Beyea.
