Newark - Steven G. Heffron, 64, formerly of Newark, NY, passed away on Thursday (February 16, 2017) at Leo Center for Palliative Care, Rochester, NY. Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Thursday (February 23) from 9 AM to 10 AM followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 10 AM with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Francis/St. Clair Parish, Seneca Falls, NY, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. Steven was born in Waterloo, NY on April 18, 1952 the son of the late Gerald F. & Edith Haust Heffron. He was, at one time, employed by Seneca Foods/Libby's of Geneva, NY, Springform of Newark, NY, and Greenwoods of Waterloo, NY. While he resided in Newark, he had attended St. Michael's Church. Steven was a hard-working, honest & kind man. He is survived by: 1 sister - Sharon Hatch - Seneca Falls, NY 1 brother - Jeffrey Heffron - Geneva, NY Several nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, Steven was predeceased by 1 sister, Debbie Pehrson.
