Susan M. (Hannah) Moody

Susan Marie Moody, age 61, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 1, 2021. She was born November 28,
1959 in Seneca Falls to Orval and Sue Hannah. Susan was a 1978 graduate of Mynderse Academy in
Seneca Falls, NY. She married the love of her life, David Moody in March of 1981. He preceded her in
death in 2013. For 34 years Susan worked at North American Filter Corporation in Newark, NY. She was
a dedicated employee and shared many fond moments with her dear friend, Grace (Marc) Perry. Above
all, Susan was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and worked tirelessly to
assure they were provided for. Susan especially loved her role as Grandma. She treasured her
grandchildren and embraced every moment with them.

Susan is survived by her children, Shawn (Melissa Nielsen) Moody of Waterloo, Robert (Kristin) Moody
of Waterloo and Sandra (Matthew) Clark of Clifton Springs; grandchildren, Alexandria Moody, Teanna
Monahan, Maddison Clark, Brynn Moody, and Alex and Troy Nielsen; sisters, Linda (Floyd) Chadwick,
Sandra Hannah, Debra (Matt Laughlin) Hannah; many nieces, nephews, and beloved extended family
along with her loyal companion, her dog, Baron. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents Orval and Sue Hannah and her husband David Moody. She will
be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 East
River Road, Waterloo, NY.
