Tammy J. Hartman, 56, a lifelong resident of Seneca Falls, NY, passed at her home unexpectedly on Sunday, January 12th, 2025. A private funeral service will be held at the family’s request. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 19th, 2025, from 12:00PM to 3:00PM at Dewey’s Party House, 67 Auburn Rd. Seneca Falls, NY. To help the family honor Tammy, those in attendance are asked to wear hers or your favorite teams colors; the Buffalo Bills and NY Yankees, or motorcycle gear, and a hat of your choice.
Tammy was born in Waterloo, NY, on June 11th, 1968. She was a graduate of Mynderse Academy, Class of 1987. Tammy was employed with the Waterloo School District for over 25 years as the Cook Manager. She proudly served and lovingly devoted her time to, “her school kids”, and was nicknamed “T-Rex” by her co-workers since her arms were too short to reach anything out of her wingspan. She also served the community in various waitressing and bartending positions as she was a social butterfly. Tammy had a special love for her four-legged fur babies and fur grandchildren. She was likely to be caught riding on a Harley, cheering for the Buffalo Bills and NY Yankees or traveling to Las Vegas for her favorite getaway or hopping on a cruise. She enjoyed singing and dancing and attending concerts with family and friends. Her passions spanned far and wide, but her loyalty was to family, friends, her jobs and “living her best life”.
Tammy is survived by her loving children and bonus children, Joyce (Korey) Koukides, Kyle (Raven) Hartman-Peck, Shayla (Vince) Kerr, Caitlyn Peck, and Devlin (Julia) Peck. Her siblings, Anthony Nedza, Terry Nedza and Tracey (Rick) Kent, her nephews, Scott Briggs, Ricky Kent, Nicholas (Samantha) Kent as well as many cousins, and bonus grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Donald W. and Joyce A. (Frati) Hartman.
